- much shorter lines than the main gate. After wandering around for about an hour, seeing a range of old things,
statues
and paintings, including the mona Lisa.
Then we headed to the meeting place, going out via the glass pyramid
and headed back to the campsite for dinner.
After dinner we headed back into the city, back to the eifel tower.
This time I went all the way up to the top.
The view there was gorgeous, bit not very photogenic.
I took the lift down to the second floor, and from there I took the stairs, to avoid the wait in line for the lift.
Tonight on the grass under the eifel tower, as it was flashing, Dan proposed to Gem, it was really romantic and a good start to our trip.
